The studio is where each work begins — through material, movement and intuition.
Teodora Hristova builds her paintings gradually, working with layers of acrylic, relief textures and metallic elements to create surfaces that respond to light and change with the viewer’s perspective.
Her process is instinctive yet deliberate. Paint is applied, removed, layered and reshaped until the composition finds its own balance. Texture becomes both structure and expression — revealing traces of movement, gesture and time.
Rather than following a fixed image from the beginning, each work evolves through the act of making itself. The final painting emerges from a continuous dialogue between material, movement and space.

Teodora Hristova is a contemporary Bulgarian artist whose work explores the relationship between matter, movement and space.
Drawing and creating from an early age, she developed her visual language through education in the fine and applied arts. She holds a professional diploma as an artist, a Bachelor's degree in Plastic Arts and Architecture, and a Master's degree in Spatial Design.
Her practice is rooted in the idea that a work of art is more than an image — it is a presence within a space. Through layered textures, relief surfaces, subtle contrasts and metallic accents, she creates works that interact with light, architecture and their surrounding environment.
Each work is created intuitively and carries its own energy, rhythm and emotional presence. Rather than simply occupying a wall, her paintings are conceived as part of the atmosphere of an interior — works that can transform the perception of a space and create a quiet yet powerful visual impact.
Her works exist somewhere between art, material and space — created not only to be seen, but to be felt.

Every original artwork is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the artist’s authorship and documenting the work’s title, medium, dimensions and year of creation.
Each certificate is individually issued and finished with the artist’s wax seal.
